A video has gone viral on the internet, claiming that Amazon’s Alexa is alerting mankind to an “armada of alien ships” heading towards Earth.
The clip cites Github.io as a reference and begins with a user inquiring about the James Webb Telescope’s detection to the AI-based assistant Alexa.
Alexa answered the query and said that the fleet was approaching our home planet at the speed of light. Amazon has yet to comment on the strange answer by its bot.
The genesis of this video can be traced to Cindy Adams DeRossett, who is the founder and CEO of The Hippie Puppy, and was the first to post the Alexa video on social media. The clip has since gone viral and has been posted multiple times on various social media platforms.
The video has evoked a deluge of responses on social media by netizens, and one user wrote,
“Interesting.
Apparently, Alexa is saying that an armada of alien ships is heading towards Earth. I think the news reported it’s an asteroid (2nd moon).”
Another netizen wrote,
“There is an extraterrestrial 
armada of ships moving towards our planet at light speed! Things are rapidly turning up on the planet and a huge shift is happening,”
A third person added,
“Y’all hear about the armada of alien spaceships coming to us?”
For the unversed, the James Webb Space Telescope was created to learn about the mysteries of the early universe and how galaxies merge and change over time. It also helps scientists learn about peering into stellar nurseries, where stars and planetary systems are born.
