The controversy arose after promoter Eddz accused Mawhoo of failing to appear at the festival, causing a stir on social media. Fans expressed disappointment, unaware of the behind-the-scenes issues. She posted proof of her bank records, demonstrating that no deposit had been made for the performance, which, according to her, voided the booking agreement.
