The documentary is directed by Cullen Hoback who is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker known for his investigative documentaries.
The documentary chronicles the birth and the chaotic journey of the most valued cryptocurrency, Bitcoin.
The documentary also analyzes the rationale behind the creation of Bitcoin and its apparent impact in the financial world.
The documentary not only reveals the identity of the Bitcoin creator but also analyzes Bitcoin’s role in shaping economic policies.
With the US Presidential elections just around the corner, the revelation will also have a big political impact especially since Donald Trump is very open and positive towards cryptocurrency and is popular among crypto fans.

However, there are many critics of this move to identify Satoshi Nakamoto contending that he has a right to privacy.

If he does have access his net worth could be in the tune of $66 billion at current valuations.
Numerous attempts were made to identify Satoshi Nakamoto
In 2014 writer Leah McGrath Goodman stated that Dorian Nakamoto, a Japanese-American engineer, was the real Satoshi Nakamoto. However, Dorian Nakamoto refuted the claims.
Australian cryptographer Craig Steven Wright claimed that he was Satoshi in 2016 but was unable to prove it. His claim was further weakened by his aggressive attitude and court confrontation. In 2023 a British court decided that Wright was not Satoshi.
Other suspects included the creator of the Hashcash system, Adam Back, Nick Szabo, a cryptographer and the late Hal Finney, a software developer.
