After NFTs and Bibles Former US President and Republican Party Presidential nominee, Donald Trump has unveiled his Official Trump Watch Collection which has been priced in between $499 to $100K.

The watches will appeal to all sections of Donald Trump’s fanbase.
The watches come with complex features like a tourbillon and Trump’s signature and can be labelled more as a collectable item. Critics have also derided and voiced concerns about their value as compared to established luxury brands.
However, Trump may be raking in a lot of money but where is it going? According to some experts, it is not going into the campaign.
Donald Trump’s $100K gold watch is made in China?
Trump’s latest venture of selling luxury watches has left many experts unimpressed. Firstly the steep price tag of $100,000 and claims of Swiss craftsmanship ring hollow especially after some experts claimed that these watches are “Chinese-made.”
The two watches ‘The Fighter’ and a second, unnamed model, carry a price tag of between $499 and $799.
The prices are still steep and the rationale which is being loudly trumpeted is that the watch is adorned with what appears to be imitation gold. The $100K watch is touted to be made of an 18-karat gold watch encrusted with diamonds.
However, experts contend that the actual values of these watches are much less.
Trump in a post on Truth Social stated that his watches are “truly special” and best for Christmas gifts.
The post stated,
“Don’t wait; they will go fast,” he wrote, and added, “GET YOUR TRUMP WATCH RIGHT NOW!”
Many experts have ridiculed the watch and dubbed it as having an uninspiring design and inflated price tags.
Editor of A Blog To Watch told The Hollywood Reporter has described the watch as being hastily assembled, unoriginal and exorbitantly priced.
Adams explained,
“Anyone can go to a white labeler and say, ‘I want a watch with this case, this bracelet and these other details,’ and a white labeler will Frankenstein it together, put your name on it and sell it to you. But the price you sell it for is up to you. That the markup came from someone on Trump’s team is obvious here. Even the $500 piece from another brand would go for maybe $200,”
An anonymous marketing director from a Tier1 Swiss watch brand was talking to a media house, The Hollywood Reporter stated that the watch by its looks is in all probability a Chinese-made watch and not Swiss-made.
